Just because we’re eating healthy doesn’t mean happy hour has to stop. Although Rick has stopped drinking beer (they have a higher amount of carbs and sugars than the alternatives), he still enjoys an occasional cocktail or glass of wine.
The biggest challenge has been finding and creating cocktails with no or low quantities of sugar added, so the sweetness in these drinks comes from whole fruit and liqueur used VERY sparingly. Our cocktails are always served with some high fiber snacks, such as raw bell peppers, carrots or zucchini and hummus.
